This task was
referred to the CSC through the IT Department’s study session with plans for progress
updates to be brought to future study sessions.

Additionally, the Board has tasked IT with analyzing the options and cost of rebranding
the County. This initiative was discontinued in 2018 but has gained interest in rebooting
as the development of the County’s new public site progresses.

DISCUSSION:
Communications Survey:
The goal of this survey is to better understand how each department or office within our
organization approaches communication—both internally and with the public. We are
gathering information about current communication activities, intended audiences,
available tools, challenges, and support needs.

The CSC is hopeful the results of this survey will inform better decision making and
provide important data for developing a communications framework for the entire
county.
