02/09/2026 MINUTES 3 <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of February 9, 2026, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Notice of the <br />Holiday on Monday February 16, 2026 and the County Closures; <br />Announcement of the Annual National County Government Month Coloring <br />Contest inviting local kids to submit their artwork for a chance to <br />win a seasons fair pass; Post about BoCC Meetings on the website and <br />where to find them as well as how to sign up for meeting <br />notifications. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2026 <br />were determined during a Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting and they will continue to provide updates at future <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright provided a final update on the Deathridge Well <br />conclusion. He updated the Board on the CEDS Community Meeting that <br />took place last Tuesday and stated there will be additional meetings <br />and he didn’t see an issue if the Board wanted to attend any of them <br />as there is no decisions being made. He also provided a brief <br />updated on the PSE Turbines, after his recent meeting. <br /> <br />Jodi Larsen, Office Administrator, shared that the Employee <br />Recognition packets are ready to go for them to do at an upcoming <br />Agenda Sessions. <br /> <br />She also shared that all the Audio files are finally completed and <br />transferred to State Archives – 14 years' worth. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:36 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />
