<br />Page 2 | 4 <br /> <br />OTHER FUNCTIONS: <br />Project Management Duties (Application Developer II and III) <br />• Act as project manager for medium-to-large application development and implementation projects. This <br />includes planning and overseeing project discovery, planning, scheduling, developing SOWs, QA, and <br />documentation and training. <br />Personnel Management Duties (Application Developer III only) <br />• Coordinate and lead the work of the Business Applications Division Staff. <br />• Provide staff with coaching, training, and assistance. <br /> <br />This job description is a summary of the primary functions and expectations for this position. Additional <br />department-related duties may be assigned as required. <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />All Positions <br />• High School Diploma, GED, or higher education. <br />• Valid Washington State driver’s license. <br />• Experience with some or all of the following: web design/maintenance, desktop application <br />development, API development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, creating and managing SQL database objects <br />such as tables, views, queries, stored procedures. <br />• A criminal history and background check will be performed to include fingerprinting on qualified <br />candidates. Convictions may preclude candidates from employment in certain circumstances. Factors <br />such as relativity to the position, age at time of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, and <br />rehabilitation will be considered. <br />Application Developer I <br />• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in application/website development and database <br />management. <br />• Demonstrate basic understanding of the concepts listed in the All Positions minimum qualifications <br />section. <br />• Other relevant training, education, certification, or experience may be considered at the discretion of <br />the IT Director or their designee. <br />Application Developer II <br />• Four (5) years of relevant work experience in application/website development and database <br />management. <br />• Demonstrate intermediate understanding of the concepts listed in the All Positions minimum <br />qualifications section. <br />• Other relevant training, education, certification, or experience may be considered at the discretion of <br />the IT Director or their designee. <br />Application Developer III <br />• Six (8) years of relevant work experience in application/website development and database <br />management. <br />• Demonstrate advanced understanding of the concepts listed in the All Positions minimum qualifications <br />section. <br />• Other relevant training, education, certification, or experience may be considered at the discretion of <br />the IT Director or their designee.
