i"oui
Ellensburg,Wj
i
STATEMENT FROM CEO _
If there is one thing that defines Kittitas County, it is the
heart and resilience of its business community.
` This past year reminded us that small businesses are more ►'
y~ than economic drivers—they are neighbors, problem-
solvers, and community anchors. Time and again, our
members showed up with determination, creativity, and a
deep commitment to the places they call home. Even in the
face of uncertainty, they continued to adapt, support one
another, and move forward with purpose.
Small businesses are the soul of our local economy. They create opportunities,
provide livelihoods, and give our communities their unique character. When our
small businesses succeed, our towns thrive—and that truth guides everything we do
at the Chamber.
Throughout 2025, your Chamber focused on connection, collaboration, and capacity-
building. We strengthened partnerships, advocated for business-friendly solutions,
and invested in programs that support workforce development, entrepreneurship,
and community vitality. Most importantly, we listened—because the future of our
work must be shaped by the voices of our members.
As we look toward 2026, we move forward with intention and momentum. Our focus
is on turning insight into actions supporting business growth, strengthening our
workforce, and making strategic investments that deliver real, lasting impact. This
includes advancing talent pipelines, supporting entrepreneurship, deepening
partnerships, and continuing to position Kittitas County as a vibrant place to live,
work, and visit. This next chapter is about preparing for what's ahead while staying
grounded in the values that make Kittitas County a place people want to build, grow,
and belong.
To our members, partners, and community champions: thank you. Your passion and
perseverance inspire us daily. The work ahead is meaningful, and the future is bright
- because we are building it together.
Sincerely,
AI EMPOWERING LOCAL BUSINESS,
Amy McGuffin, Chief Executive Officer ENRICHING COMMUNITY.
