i •i
COUNTYEllensburg, WA
RAMBER
iCOMM[RE
W_0 0
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In 2025, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce continued to serve as
more than a membership-based nonprofit organization. As the county's
designated Associated Economic Development Organization (ADO) and
~ + Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), we proudly remained a central
- resource for economic development, tourism promotion, business growth,
and community resilience. Alongside these critical roles, we delivered high-
quality membership services, hosted impactful county-wide events, and
provided visitor information that supports a vibrant and sustainable local
u
economy.
Building on the strong foundation of previous years, 2025 began with our
signature Winterhop Brewfest and unfolded through a full calendar of
events and initiatives designed to serve businesses, residents, and visitors
alike. In addition to our established programs, we expanded our focus on
workforce development by launching and supporting new youth-centered
initiatives. These included the Hospitality and Tourism Youth Summit, the
Construction Youth Summit, internship fairs, and industry field trips that
connected students directly with local career pathways. Through expanded
youth opportunity and exploratory programs for Career and Technical
Education (CTE) students across Kittitas County, we began workforce
education and career conversations earlier—while students are still in
school—helping to build a stronger local talent pipeline.
The Chamber also supported entrepreneurship and business innovation
through our Enterprise Challenge, which concluded with three winning
teams recognized for their ideas, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.
We celebrated the strength and leadership of our business community at
our Annual Awards Dinner, honoring individuals and organizations whose
contributions continue to shape the future of Kittitas County.
Throughout the year, we remained committed to connecting local
professionals, supporting businesses at every stage, and strengthening
partnerships across industries. Our networking events, educational
workshops, advocacy efforts, and collaborative initiatives fostered a
resilient and forward-looking business environment.
