KITTITAS COUNTY AMENDMENT TO: <br />Professional Services Agreement <br />This Amendment ("Amendment") is made as of December 31, 2025, by and between Kittitas <br />County (hereinafter "County"), a political subdivision of the State of Washington, and Damman <br />School District (hereinafter "Contractor"). <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into an agreement dated January 1, 2025 (the "Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Amendment <br />The Agreement is amended as follows: <br />The term of this Agreement shall continue until June 30, 2026. <br />Under Exhibit "A"SCOPE OF WORK <br />1. Funding to support participation in Fifth Grade Camp. <br />The end of fifth grade marks a keytransitional milestone for elementary school students in <br />their educational and personal journey as they move to middle school. Fifth -grade camp <br />which takes place at Lazy F camp in Kittitas County is designed to challenge and build <br />social and emotional resilience as they prepare to make this transition. This experience <br />builds mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal <br />effectiveness. They participate in activities such as the ropes course, group based <br />creative skits and hikes. For many this overnight camp is the first time that they have <br />been away from their family overnight. For all this experience builds their social and <br />emotional skills and helps prepare them for Middle school. <br />Funds would support student attendance fees. <br />2. Visual Arts and Social -Emotional Wellness Program <br />Implementation of a new comprehensive art program designed to foster individual <br />expression, mental well-being, and social connection through the visual arts.
