JANUARY 5, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz; Commissioner <br />Cory Wright & Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Jodi Larsen, Office Administrator; Chad Bala, CDS <br />Director; Jamey Ayling, Planning Official; and two members of the <br />public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Commissioner Osiadacz opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Jessica Karraker, LTAC Member, spoke regarding the Lodging Tax <br />Advisory Committee (LTAC) language on a large check and the <br />discussions that the LTAC had regarding it. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending January 2, 2026. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION LTAC CHECK LANGUAGE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz explained that she met with the LTAC following <br />the Board meeting at which the LTAC check language was discussed. <br />She provided a brief summary of the intent behind the check and <br />stated that, since Commissioner Wright had provided feedback on this <br />action item during the December 22, 2025 Office Admin Meeting, but <br />was unable to be in person to speak to it, the matter was brought <br />back to allow him to share his concerns.
