The Sheriffand police Chief may appoint the finance department of either of their <br />agencies to manage the finances (such as proceeds from KCRTRT seized property sold at <br />aiction) of the KCRTRT. Before appointing the finance department of a particular member to <br />manage the finances of the KCRTRT, the flance department of the member should be contacted <br />flrst t; obtaintheir consent and approval. The duty olmanaging the flnances ofthe KCRTRT <br />may be rotated at the discretion ofthe Sheriffand Police Chief, with consent from the finance <br />deparffient receiving the assignment <br />vtl. During field ac.tivation of <br />the KCRTRT, the Team Commander shall clearly identiff who is incident command- The <br />incident commander will be the highest ranking member of the law enforcement office or <br />department havrng jurisdiction o-r*] th. incident, or their designee. The Teag-Commander shall <br />designate the KCRTRT Tactical Commander, and KCRTRT Team Leader(s)- The duties and <br />pro".""d*", to be utilized by the Incident Commandeq the KCRTRT Team Commander, and <br />KCRTRT Team Leaders *nun f* set forth in the approved staqdard operating procedures. The <br />approved standard operating procedures may designate otherpersonnelto be.utilized during an <br />incident. any supervisor who is a commissibned Jffi.er of either parly is authorized to activate <br />the KCRTRT. <br />vrtr. PROPERTY AND EQUIPIIIENT. <br />A. No property shall be purchased jointly, lent, or exchanged, nor shall title to any <br />properfy be transferre& eicept by separate agreement. This provision shall not preclude the <br />L**.. of any operationally appropnate equipment to any officer while engaged in KCRTRT <br />duties who is properly trained to operate said equipment' <br />B.
