o The timed event chute and the three lead-up pieces are not included in this project scope. These components are already owned and will be incorporated separately. 6. Sorting System o The proposal must include a herringbone-style sorting chute system, or a comparable design, to facilitate efficient sorting and staging of cattle prior to entering the lead-up area. 7. Cost Inclusions o The proposal must include all costs associated with: ▪ Equipment and material purchase ▪ Labor for complete installation ▪ Applicable local sales tax 8. Project Completion Date o The proposal must guarantee a completion date of July 15, 2026 ▪ As general construction of the new grandstands above the pen area will be ongoing throughout 2026, KVEC anticipates careful coordination with the general contractor and commence installation once the pen area is released and ready for work. ▪ The current estimated start date is in mid-June; however, this is subject to change based on overall construction progress and cannot be guaranteed at this time. If availability is made earlier for installation, that will be communicated and arranged with the bidder. CONDITION The equipment, materials, and accessories shall meet all Federal and State laws and regulations, including applicable emission standards and meet the minimum specifications or otherwise specify the deviations. REQUIREMENTS Each proposal must include: • Design drawings or concept layout showing proposed configuration • Itemized quote for materials, equipment, and labor • Estimated project timeline including lead times for materials and installation • Company qualifications and relevant experience with livestock handling systems or arena infrastructure • References from similar completed projects BID SECURITY KVEC will not require a Bid Bond. DELIVERY The equipment purchased as a result of this Bid solicitation shall be delivered to the KVEC specified site contained within the bid. All responsibility and liability associated with the delivery of the equipment shall be borne by the vendor. Delivery cost should be specified in the bid on Form B.
