BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH FUEL FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2026 AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for the furnishing of Fuel for Calendar Year <br />2026 on November 6, 2025, and November 13, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on November 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Department and two (2) bids were received and deemed responsive; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A" and Schedule `B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Fuel for Calendar Year 2026 to A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A" and Schedule `B" upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by <br />said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this 2nd day of December 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chair <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chair <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
