KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />December 2, 2025 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Fuel for Calendar Year 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes out to <br />bid for the furnishing of Petroleum and Lubricant <br />Products in accordance with specifications. <br />Last year (2025), Public Works only solicited for <br />the furnishing of Fuel and utilized the Washington <br />State Department of Transportation Contract for <br />Lubricant Products. Public Works will continue <br />this practice for Calendar Year 2026. <br />Bids were opened on November 20, 2025, at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Public Works Department and two (2) <br />bids were received and deemed responsive. Public <br />Works recommends awarding the bid for Schedule <br />"A" and Schedule `B" to A-1 Petroleum. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bid to <br />furnish Fuel for Calendar Year 2026. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director <br />
