EXHIBIT "B" <br />MANUAL ON ACCOMMODATING UTILITIES <br />Section 2.2.3 <br />Not applicable to the LEVEL 3 project since according to Kittitas County Department of Public <br />Works, LEVEL 3 running line is not located in any areas in which the pavement is less than 3 <br />years old. <br />Section 5-6.3.5 <br />LEVEL 3 will follow "Asphalt Pavement Detail" or "Asphalt/Concrete Detail" as shown on Sheet <br />No. 12/16 "Surface Restoration" of the LEVEL 3 Kittitas County Franchise Route drawings. The <br />project standard for restoration of damaged roadway surface for the LEVEL 3 project throughout <br />the country normally requires the restoration of the damaged area to a standard that matches the <br />existing roadway surface in the vicinity of the damaged area. Per the requirement of the Kittitas <br />Department of Public Works Manual for Accommodating Utilities, if 40% of the lane is damaged, <br />the lane, along the length of the damaged area, will be restored to the centerline with 3" minimum <br />compacted depth of ACP and 3" minimum compacted depth of crushed surfaced top course. If <br />soft areas are encountered or the material is pumping, the unsuitable material will be removed <br />and replaced with crushed surfacing top course. <br />Schedule A <br />Not applicable to the LEVEL 3 project since Kittitas County and LEVEL 3 have reached <br />agreement on alternate compensation. <br />Section 2-5 <br />To minimize traffic disruptions and for timely construction completion, Kittitas County will extend <br />the 500' distance to allow the Kittitas County franchise route to be permitted by approximately 4-5 <br />permits. <br />Section 5-5.1.1 <br />LEVEL 3 will install handholes as shown on Sheet No. 10/16 "Handhole Installation Details" of the <br />LEVEL 3 Kittitas County Franchise Route drawings. <br />D-4.8/D-6.2 <br />LEVEL 3 will be utilizing steel casing or fiberglass conduits for bridge attachments <br />D-5.5 <br />LEVEL 3 will be providing handholes at a maximum of every 3,600 feet. <br />FRANCHISE PAGE 9 OF 6 <br />
