The City has secured Congressionally Directed Spending funding for the Railroad Street <br />Rehabilitation and Truck Route project. The funding received from the Congressionally Directed <br />Spending grant is $1,500,000 out of the $1,730,000 needed for this project. <br />2. Operations & Maintenance:.)utline the plan for ongoing maintenance and operational <br />funding to ensure the infrastructure's long-term sustainability. <br />Railroad Street is within the city limits of Cie Elum, therefore it will be maintained by the City. <br />Ongoing maintenance will include routine crack sealing and chip sealing when necessary. Each <br />year the City maintains a maintenance budget to upkeep their existing roadway facilities. <br />Routine crack sealing will extend the longevity of the newly rehabilitated roadway. <br />IV. Project Timeline:ubmit a comprehensive timeline detailing the project's current status and <br />key milestones, from initiation through completion. <br />Design plans are anticipated to be completed throughout 2026 with construction slated for <br />spring 2027. Feasibility and Risk Management <br />1. Feasibility: -assess the project's feasibility, including any completed studies, readiness to <br />A li! nlihood of completion within the proposed timeline. <br />In anticipation of the Railroad Street truck route project, the City has taken the steps necessary <br />to federally classify the roadway. The City has also received an award letter for the $1.5 million <br />in secured funding. Once funds are available, the City will procure a design engineering contract <br />and proceed with the preliminary design phase. There are no anticipated obstacles such as <br />right-of-way acquisition. The City will be ready to obligate construction funds by spring 2027. <br />2.
