The Planning Commission amended the proposal to allow surveys to be recorded on <br />both paper and mylar and recommended approval to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0 with nine (9 ) findings of facts. <br />II. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2024-05 Kittitas County Proposal <br />This proposal is to add a definition for Agritourism consistent with RCW 4.24.830. <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to include an agritourism definition <br />into Kittitas County Code (KCC), specifically KCC 17.08.034F Agritourism, by a vote <br />of 4-0 with eleven (11) findings of fact. <br />II. Public testimony was received for this proposal. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2024-06 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />This proposal was submitted by the Short-Term Rental committee to add the complete RCW 64.37 <br />as a definition for Short-Term Rentals. <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission amended the proposal to include RCW 64.37.010 (1-11) as <br />the short-term rental definition into Kittitas County Code (KCC), specifically KCC <br />17.08.486 Short-Term Rental and recommended approval to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0 with seventeen (17) findings of fact. <br />II. Public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. Written testimony for this proposal was received. <br />IV. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2024-07 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend the land use and zoning maps within the urban growth area of the City of Kittitas. <br /> <br />Discussions occurred with the City of Kittitas who has decided to address this issue as part of <br />their comprehensive plan update. <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to withdraw the proposal to the <br />Board of County Commissioners with a vote of 4-0 with seven (7) findings of facts. <br />II. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2024-08 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend KCC Title 14 creating a simplified process for future updates due to WA State Code <br />Amendments that occur.
