It is understood that such execution shall not require that one original agreement be signed by all parties to this agreement, but there will be several duplicate originals, one signed by each party to this agreement. The purpose of this provision is to facilitate signing of this agreement and to avoid undue delay in the execution of the agreement. This agreement, however, shall be executed on behalf of each parry by its authorized representative and pursuant to the appropriate motion, resolution or ordinance of each local government or entity as the case may be. Each parry to this agreement shall be bound to it as of the date it signs this agreement. D. Withdrawal. Either parry may withdraw its participation in the KCRTRT by providing written notice of its withdrawal and serving such notice upon the legislative body of the other party. A notice of withdrawal shall become effective ninety (90) days after the notice is provided to the other parry. E. Termination of Agreement. The KCRTRT may be terminated by affirmative vote of both the Sheriff and Police Chief. Any vote for termination shall occur only when the Sheriff and Police Chief, or their designee(s) are present at the meeting in which such vote is taken. In the event of termination of the agreement, the parties will still be liable and responsible for its obligations and actions occurring prior to the effective date of termination. F. Limitations on Assignment and Delegation. The parties shall not assign, transfer, or delegate their rights or obligations under this Agreement, to third parties (such as subcontractors), without the prior written consent of the other parry.
