Call to Order: 1:30PM <br />2. Citizen Comments – Pat Kelleher sends public comment in via email <br />Chairman <br />Stop digging. <br />BOCC approved pay increases <br />Revenues are flat <br />Expenses increased $4 million <br />Payroll is the major cost to general fund. <br />Freeze new hire <br />Freeze non-essential replacement hires. <br />You put yourself in the model of higher wages now you must live within your budget like every other household. <br />revenues=what you can expense <br />Regards <br />Pat Kelleher <br /> <br />3. Budget Family Overview (Discussion) <br />Zack DeHaven states the deficit at 2.86MM. A decrease is needed, and the Board of County <br />Commissioners would collectively like to see a 2% decrease across all families. <br /> <br />4. Interest Earning Non-Staffed County Funds (Discussion/Decision) <br />Zack DeHaven recommends sweeping the interest earnings from non-staffed county funds into <br />the General Fund. This change will help with the current financial pressure of the General Fund. <br />Board of County Commissioners Approve. Resolution to follow <br /> <br />
