Kittitas County Sheriff's Office -2025 Grant Recipient— Flock: Chris Whitsett <br /> reported back to the L&J Council on their Flock Cameras which were <br /> purchased with the support of an L&1 grant. Cameras purchased in the <br /> Spring of 2025 and as of August 2025 there are 10 cameras online. End state <br /> is 31 cameras online. <br /> 5. Standing Committee Reports <br /> a. Budget and Grants: Budget & Grants committee will meet prior to the <br /> October L&J Council meeting to review 2026 grant applications, with <br /> recommendations for decision at the October meeting. Received a request <br /> from the jail to extend its grant into 2026. <br /> b. Mental Health/Chemical Dependency: Making recommendations to BOCC <br /> this Friday. <br /> c. Public Relations: No Report. <br /> 6. Agency Updates and Current Issues <br /> a. CASA (Sandy Martinez): Training new group of volunteers. <br /> b. Citizens at Large (Bill DeHaven & Pam Tuggle Miles): <br /> i. Pam Tuggle Miles: Cold weather shelter is looking for an <br /> organization to run operations. <br />
