development through lowering development standards and
increasing allowances in cities, urban growth areas, and
LAMIRDS . The bill requires local jurisdictions to adopt
compliant regulations within six months of their next periodic
comprehensive plan update . Many of the provisions in house bill
1337 involve development standards more frequently associated
with city jurisdictions . There are limitations on design
standard requirements, impact fees, parking requirements, size
and setbacks from alleyways . Currently our regulations are
largely compliant, but some changes are necessary to ensure
consistency with the bill . The proposed update will amend all
four allowed use tables and footnotes associated with each
table . The updates will remove the accessory living quarters
definition in our code . The update will also change the footnote
section in each table . It will increase the permission for up to
two ADUs within the LAMIRD designations, two ADUs are already
allowed within the urban growth designations, as long as general
development standards can be met . There is also an error in
footnote number 51, the rural LAMIRD use table, this will be
removed.
COMMISSIONER DENEEN moved to recommend approval of item 25-
03 .
