All rights reserved. <br />PRIVATE - Controlled by Lumifi Cyber <br /> <br />7/25 <br />PRIVATE - Controlled by Lumifi Cyber <br />Service Description and Scope <br />This section provides a description of services, scope of activity, and support requirements <br />associated with the services. <br />Focused Security Assessment <br />Our Focused Security Assessment approach may be summarized as a computer and network <br />security assessment intended to provide a point -in-time snapshot of Kittitas County’s <br />security posture, coupled with a set of prioritized recommendations for increasing the <br />security throughout the organization. The Focused Security Assessment will focus on <br />Kittitas County ’s enterprise environment and the security management practices supporting <br />that environment. <br />The assessment methodology is based on standards of practice drawn from multiple <br />sources and is based on the NIST Cyber Security Framework and may also reference the PCI <br />DSS, HIPAA and CJIS encryption and data security standard s . <br />Approach and Methodology <br />Lumifi Cyber will conduct up to 8 focused information -gathering facilitation sessions at <br />Kittitas County. The sessions will discuss the required controls, while adding context from <br />the current threat landscape that is relevant. The sessions will address the control <br />standards as components that are relevant to each of the audiences (with some overlap), <br />and conduct the delivery of information, as well as its solicitation. As the requirements are <br />presented, a conversational narrative will be used to intervi ew the audience as to how <br />effectively each requirement is being currently met. This conversation will include ideas on <br />how gaps in compliance may be met using open -source, managed services, and other <br />methods that fit their people, process and technology w ith respect to cost and management <br />requirements. <br />Coordination, Planning, & Project Initiation <br />Lumifi Cyber will provide day -to-day project management for all aspects of this project, <br />including tracking and resolution of project related issues, progress tracking, project <br />reporting, and communication. <br />A key component of Lumifi Cyber’s project management approach is timely reporting of <br />project progress and findings. This enables a proactive approach to addressing security <br />risks discovered during the course of the project and ensures that all project sta keholders <br />are completely informed at all times. <br />Customer Resource Requirements <br />Achieving Kittitas County’s objectives will require active participation from both the Lumifi <br />Cyber Project Team as well as Kittitas County’s own personnel.
