KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM AUGUST 11, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith. <br />Others: Josh Fredrickson, Cameron Curtis, Rebecca Cruse, Public <br />Works; No Members of the Public <br />At 1:30 PM Commissioner Brett Wachsmith opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />No Citizen Comments <br />SNOQUALMIE PASS COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ACTION PLAN UPDATE <br />Cameron Curtis briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the <br />progress made utilizing the Safe Streets and Roads for All funding. <br />Cameron Curtis stated that engagement with the community and <br />stakeholders' group have generated a lot of feedback and with the <br />data collected there have been potential projects identified to <br />improve road safety. Cameron Curtis stated that the consultant will <br />have material prepared to present to the public for comment. <br />6-YEAR TRANSPORTATION PLAN UPDATE <br />Cameron Curtis briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the <br />upcoming 6-year plan and stated that Public Works will be seeking <br />online engagement for 3-weeks.
