DISCUSSION:
To date, Kittitas County's role in this grant has been largely administrative. In discussing
the flood risk reduction and habitat improvement project design with MCF, the parties
agreed that Public Works could provide the necessary project design and hydraulic
modeling services to support the project and that this partnership would be cost-effective.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
There is no match requirement for this grant. Direct costs incurred by Public Works,
estimated at $30,000.00, will be reimbursed through the grant.
ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit A Resolution
Exhibit B: Memorandum of Agreement Amendment
Page 2 of 4
Public Works "Work Session Staff Report", 2025
