<br />2026-2031 Summary Page 10 <br /> <br /> <br />Vantage Highway within the <br />existing pavement limits along <br />with temporary and permanent <br />pavement marking for repair, <br />rehabilitation and preservation. <br />This road segment is the third <br />phase of the surface <br />improvements on Vantage <br />Highway. <br />Vantage Hwy Paving <br />Phase 4 <br />The Vantage Highway is a <br />major east/west corridor in the <br />Lower Kittitas Valley. Regular <br />roadway maintenance improves <br />roadway safety while <br />maintaining reliable <br />infrastructure. This project will <br />grind and overlay asphalt on <br />Vantage Highway within the <br />existing pavement limits along <br />with temporary and permanent <br />pavement marking for repair, <br />rehabilitation and preservation. <br />The fourth phase of surface <br />improvements on Vantage <br />Highway connects to the award <br />winning pavement project <br />completed on the roadway in <br />2021. <br />STBG funds, <br />local funds <br />2029-2030 $3,000,000 <br />No. 6 Rd <br />Improvements <br />No. 6 Road is a major <br />north/south collector in the <br />Lower Kittitas Valley. Regular <br />roadway maintenance improves <br />roadway safety while <br />maintaining reliable <br />infrastructure. This project will <br />grind and overlay asphalt on <br />No. 6 Road within the existing <br />pavement limits along with <br />temporary and permanent <br />pavement marking for repair, <br />rehabilitation and preservation. <br />RAP funds, <br />local funds <br />2026-2027 $1,450,000 <br />Bar 14 Turnaround 2017 flood events caused water <br />to overtop Bar 14 Road at <br />Bridge #89041. Subsequent <br />inspection found significant <br />damage to one of the girders. <br />The County removed the bridge <br />and completed channel repair <br />work to alleviate flood <br />problems. While the County <br />plans to pursue funding to <br />replace the bridge, the funding <br />is competitive and Bar 14 Road <br />Local funds 2027 $175,000
