Hazus also estimates the number of displaced individuals that will require <br />accommodations in temporary public shelters. The model estimates eight (8) households will be <br />displaced due to the earthquake. Of these, four (4) people (out of a total population of 44,337) will seek <br />temporary shelter in public shelters. <br /> <br />For the transportation systems, Hazus computes the direct repair cost for each component only. Table <br />4-58 provides damage estimate for the transportation systems. <br />
