KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 5, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing on August 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time <br />to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's needs and <br />authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />EQ# 353 1988 Caterpillar 950B Wheel Loader <br />VIN# 22Z03041 <br />The Department of Public Works plans to surplus the equipment in <br />accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />Equipment replacement was covered by Public Works funds in 2025. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a Public Hearing for August 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time <br />to consider equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize <br />disposal of same. <br />HANDLING: Department of Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Cameron Curtis, County Engineer <br />
