INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />Agreement No. 20250725 <br />between <br />OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION <br />600 Washington Street SE <br />PO Box 47200 <br />Olympia, WA 98504-7200 <br />and <br />KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />507 Nanum St. <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />Federal ldentification #91 -6001 349 <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department, hereinafter referred to as "Health District," and the Office of Superintendent of Public <br />lnstruction, hereinafter referred to as "OSPl." <br />PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement is necessary for the successful implementation and operation of health and <br />sanitation evaluations of food service management companies (vendors), sponsor food preparation <br />facilities, and feeding sites operating under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer <br />Food Service Program (SFSP) during the summer of 2025 as required by 7 CFR Part 225 as a <br />condition to the allocation and expenditure of USDA SFSP funding. <br />THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED THAT: <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department shallfurnish the necessary personnel, equipment, material <br />and/or services and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the <br />work set forth below: <br />This Agreement is necessary for the successful implementation and operation of health and <br />sanitation evaluations of food service management companies (vendors), sponsor food preparation <br />facilities, and feeding sites operating under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer <br />Food Service Program (SFSP) during the summer of 2Q25 as required by 7 CFR Parl.225 as a <br />condition to the allocation and expenditure of USDA SFSP funding. <br />ln accordance with the applicable local Health District, rules and regulations, the Health District <br />agrees to perform periodic health and sanitation evaluations, as determined by the Health District in <br />said Health District's jurisdiction. This shall include eleven (11) health inspections. <br />Entities participating in the Summer Food Service Program will contact the Health District, if they <br />intend to operate the program this year. OSPI will providg the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department with a list of approved sponsors no later than July 1, 2025. The Health District shall <br />contact the sponsor(s) for feeding site and preparation locations prior to inspection.
