LJUI.Uwy II Clivulupc ILi. 4000YC/U I J/ Jr—ioul-voo I - I I G I FD-+DuV 10 <br />DEPARTMENT OF <br />ECOLOGY <br />State of Washington <br />IAA No. C2500178 <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT (IAA) <br />BETWEEN <br />THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br />am <br />Kittitas County Public Health <br />THIS INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT ("Agreement" or "IAA") is made and entered into by and <br />between the state of Washington, Department of Ecology, hereinafter referred to as "ECOLOGY," and <br />the Kittitas County Public Health hereinafter referred to as the "CONTRACTOR," pursuant to the <br />authority granted by Chapter 39.34 of the Revised Code Washington, Interlocal Cooperation Act. <br />THE PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT is for the CONTRACTOR to provide Pollution Prevention <br />Assistance (PPA) Specialists who will provide technical assistance and education outreach to small quantity <br />generators in an effort to prevent pollution of waters of the state as part of the Pollution Prevention Assistance <br />Partnership. <br />WHEREAS, ECOLOGY has legal authority (RCW 70A.214 and RCW 70A.300) and the <br />CONTRACTOR (other party) has legal authority (Specific authority to conduct inspections and provide <br />technical assistance is derived from Kittitas County Code (KCC) Title 13, which outlines the powers of <br />the health officer.) that allows each party to undertake the actions in this agreement. <br />THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED THAT: <br />1. SCOPE OF WORK <br />The CONTRACTOR shall furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, material and/or service(s) and <br />otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the work set forth in Appendix <br />A, Statement of Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />Version 4/14/25 (Access Equity) <br />
