Goals and Strategies <br /> Goal 1:Promote an equitable,accountable,and transparent homeless crisis response system <br /> • Objective: Build a transparent, accessible, and responsive system. <br /> • Strategies: <br /> o Regular community meetings <br /> o Publish progress reports <br /> o Clear communication channels with stakeholders <br /> o Maximizing use of Coordinated Entry to ensure equitable access and reduce <br /> duplication <br /> • Success Measures: <br /> o Increased public engagement(attendance at public meetings) <br /> o Positive feedback, higher trust in services (Ellensburg Homeless Pannel) <br /> Will these strategies help accomplish the goal? <br /> • Provide overview of what the system is—what is meant by the"system". Graphic <br /> that shows system flow would be helpful, something with a Contact list and tool kit. <br /> • How do we get participation from those who aren't looking for the information? <br /> • Use city/county feeds and partner organizations as venues for communication. <br /> • Conduct Community outreach, press releases about HAHC and funding spent, etc. <br /> What tax funds are being used for? Faith based organizations, social media, library. <br /> Infographics about homelessness in community—did you know? Stories are <br /> impactful. Coordinated information in a variety of places. <br /> Will we have leadership support for these strategies? <br /> • Yes. Communication and information is good. <br /> Are these strategies realistic and achievable? <br /> • Generally,yes. <br /> Are these measures appropriate? <br /> • Yes. Other metrics beyond public meetings. Less attendance at public meetings <br /> can be better. <br /> • Social media views, articles, qualitative measure about if people know what is going <br /> on. <br /> • HopeSource survey—have people heard of this? Get a survey out into the <br /> community, QR code. <br /> • Citing the source of where the funds are coming from, RCW, etc. <br />
