At no time shall trenching for primary conduit exceed 48" or be less than 36" in depth to <br />achieve necessary coverage without prior approval from the City Light Inspector. The <br />Developer shall provide adequate shoring where applicable. In all cases, plastic warning tape <br />shall be placed 12" directly above the conduit. <br />During construction, partially -completed ducts shall be protected from the entrance of debris <br />by means of conduit caps <br />Trenches and vault orientation shall be constructed to allow ducts to enter concrete vaults <br />perpendicular to the vault wall with a straight piece of conduit and not enter with a bend or <br />at an angle. <br />All conduit bends for electrical primary, secondary, and street light system shall be of <br />minimum radius per the following table: <br />Conduit Size ID <br />(in) <br />Minimum conduit elbow <br />bend radius (in) <br />18 <br />24 <br />2 <br />2 % <br />24 <br />3 <br />36 <br />4 <br />48 <br />6 <br />60 <br />All conduit bends for electrical primary, secondary, and street light system shall be either <br />22.5-degree bends or 90 degree bends. No 45-degree bends will be accepted without prior <br />approval. <br />3.4 Working Hours <br />Normal working hours forthe construction of the conduit and vault system and/or street light <br />system construction shall be done at Developers choosing, as long as it meets City ordinances. <br />City Light inspection shall be during regular City Light Inspector working hours and are to be <br />determined during the pre -construction meeting between City Light & Developer. Developer <br />shall contact the City Light a minimum of 24 hours prior to all vault and conduit system and <br />electrical system construction to arrange for an inspector. Working hours may be modified <br />by mutual agreement. The Developer shall pay the applicable overtime cost (and any <br />applicable equipment cost) of a City Light Inspector to be on site outside of normal working <br />hours unless prior arrangements are made through and approved in writing by the City. <br />Page 7 <br />JOB #3450-316 FAIRGROUNDS RV PARK 3PH EXTENTION, DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT <br />
