BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A TASK <br />ORDER WITH NATURAL WATERS LLC TO SUPPORT HYDROLOGY AND <br />HYDRAULIC DESIGN OF THE HUNGRY JUNCTION WIDENING PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS: Improvements to Hungry Junction Road appear on the County's adopted <br />six year transportation plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited and has received Rural Arterial Trust Account <br />(RATA) funding award from the County Road Administration Board <br />(CRAB) through the Rural Arterial Program (RAP) supporting Hungry <br />Junction Road Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works requires Hydrology and Hydraulic technical assistance from <br />a consultant engineering firm to support design; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has a current Professional Service Agreement open with <br />Natural Waters LLC allowing for the creation of a task order; and <br />WHEREAS: Natural Waters LLC has provided a scope and fee estimate to the County <br />for review; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Public Works <br />Director to execute a Task Order with Natural Waters LLC to support <br />Hydrology and Hydraulic design of the Hungry Junction Widening <br />Project. <br />DATED on this 17`" day of June, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
