Docusign Envelope I D: 934CC55C-5 4E1 4502-881 2-D61 79D201 CD8 State of Washington Department of Ecology Agreement No: WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD-00072 Project Title: Springwood Ranch Stewardship and Planning Recipient Name: Kittitas County Public Works Department Page 8 of23 SCOPE OFWORK Task Number: 2 Task Cost: $404,000.00 Task Title Springwood Property Management Task Description: Kittitas County, Kittitas Reclamation District (KRD), Washinglon Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), and the Yakama Nation recently took ownership of Springwood Ranch. The property will be managed to continue existing operations during an interim period while the four landowners work together to hansition management and operations to meet long-term goals. These core land management functions include maintaining the existing ranch manager on site to manage and report trespass issues, maintain the continued beneficial use of water (including the ranch manager, electricity, and inigation assessment costs), keeping the property signed and fences maintained, and managing vegetation to address noxious weed and fire risk. Task Goal Statement: Springwood Ranch will be managed to address property trespass, continue to the use of water on the property, and manage vegetation and address noxious weed and fire risk across propefty ownership, while owners develop and implement plans to provide these services. Task Expected Outcome: Existing land management operations will continue over the contract period and property management will continue to address trespass, weed, and fire risk.
