<br /> <br />Public Health Study Session <br />August 28, 2024, at 10:00 am <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Attendees: <br />Brett Wachsmith, Cory Wright, Chelsey Loeffers, Candi Blackford, Erin Moore, Kate Johnson, Mark <br />Larson , Bryan Carlson, Zack DeHaven, Jesse Cox <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am <br /> <br />Citizen Comment (1 minute time limit) <br />There were no members of the public present. <br /> <br />No citizen comments <br />Department Business <br />• Human Services Manager discussion and direction <br /> <br />Bryan presented about the structure and fund sources that would support a human services <br />department. The BOCC gave staff direction to move forward with development of the human services <br />department in KCPHD. <br />• Request BOCC signature on HopeSource Pathways Project Compliance Letter <br />Chelsey Loeffers presented the HopeSource Pathways Project compliance letter to the BOCC for <br />discussion and signature. Cory Wright noted that he did not vote for the project through HopeSource <br />but can see how it aligns with the 5-year plan. The BOCC approved signature on the HopeSource <br />Pathways Letter. <br />• Resolution- Request to close KCPHD for annual all staff training 9/27 <br />Chelsey Loeffers presented Resolution 2024-158 for signature for the closure of KCPHD for annual all <br />staff training on September 27, 2024. Brett Wachsmith made a motion to approve Resolution 2024-158 <br />to authorize the closure of KCPHD on September 27, 2024 for all staff training. Cory Wright second. <br />Motion approved . <br /> <br />• Change in Temporary Food Establishment Late Fees discussion
