The Contractor shall ensure that appllcant$ are employed, <br />and that employees are treated durlng employment wlthout <br />discrimination because of thelr race, cre€d, color, natlonalorigin, sex, <br />sexual orientation, marital status, sge or the presence of any sensory, <br />mental or physical handicap. Such ac'tion shall lncludo, but not be <br />llmlted to: employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers, recruitment or <br />recruitment advertising, Iayoff or terminaiion, rates of pay or other <br />fonns of compensation, and programs fortraining including <br />apprenticeships. The Conhactor shall take such <br />action as may be required to ensure full compllance with the <br />provisiont in the lmmedlately preceding paragraphs hetein, <br />31, Ptevailinq Wage: <br />Contractor shall pay the prevailing rate of wages to all workers, laborers, or mechanics <br />employed in the performance of any part of the Work in accordancewith RCW 39.12 <br />and the rulea and regulations of the Department of Labor and lndustries.
