Scope of Work Kittitas County Solid Waste 553-1763-010 Ryegrass LPL and Future Uses 2 May 2025 Amendment 03 • Communicate and coordinate with County staff regarding drilling preparation and schedule. • Drilling oversight, construction, and development of monitoring well B8. The remaining items to complete include: • Perform hydraulic testing of the new well and monitor nearby observation wells. • Prepare a well log. • Survey the well location and wellhead elevation. • Develop a formal report documenting the well installation and hydraulic analysis. • Project Management, meetings, and communications. • Purchase and deploy a new pump in the monitoring well. Additional budget is requested primarily due to the extended time it took to drill the well. • Scoped assumption: 5 days of drilling oversight with one mobilization • Realized drilling oversight and mobilization: 14 days of oversight and six mobilizations Deliverables The following list of remaining deliverables will be prepared related to the new monitoring well: • Draft Monitoring Well Construction Summary Report • Final Monitoring Well Construction Summary Report Assumptions Based on the scope we have developed the following assumptions: • No additional work on the well construction is necessary. Task 05 – Expansion of Biosolids Land Application Area Objective This task was re-opened after Ecology issued a new General Biosolids Management Permit. Work completed under this task includes: • Updated General Biosolids Management Permit application. o New fields were not included in the permit application. o The County chose not to submit the permit package prepared in February 2025 and Ecology provided an extension to modify the permit to include the new additional fields. Additional work to complete includes: • Revise the updated General Biosolids Management Permit to include the new fields.
