KITTITAS COUNTY <br />EC STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 10:00 AM Aril 28, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith <br />Others: Kady Porterfield (Event Center Director) <br />1. Call to Order - Chairman Osiadacz called the meeting to order at 10:02am. <br />2. Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit) — none <br />3. Rodeo Grandstands Project Update — Porterfield presented the staff report and shared photo <br />renderings of the project. <br />4. Dry Camping Update — Porterfield presented the staff report. Commissioners were supportive <br />of a corrected proposal coming before a new Public Hearing. <br />5. Emergency Plan Coordination Update — Porterfield presented the staff report and shared her <br />excitement about the conversations happening and work being done for a cohesive approach to <br />handling emergencies across the entire fair and rodeo grounds. <br />OTHER BUSINESS — Commissioner Wachsmith asked about progress on the new RV Park <br />project.
