3. Marketin g/Collateral Material <br />a. Develop and update promotional materials. <br />i. Brochures <br />ii. Maps <br />iii. Visitors guide <br />iv. Video clips <br />v. Photo library <br />b. Distribute County tourism information and collateral material in Kittitas County and in <br />other ta rgeted markets. <br />c. Mainta-in stock and periodically review the effectiveness of county tourism distribution <br />racks and rack locations. <br />d. Work with strategic partners in the creation of materials that promote local businesses <br />and events. <br />4. Marketing and Advertising <br />a. Administer and oversee County tourism promotion efforts to promote the County's <br />events, attractions, facilities, and destination downtown, including, <br />i. marketing campaigns, <br />ii. advertising, <br />iii. solicitation of conventions and meetings, <br />iv. other activities agreed to by the parties from time to time. <br />b. Utilize a variety of technology and marketing tools to not only advertise Kittitas County, <br />but protect and redirect traffic away from sensitive, overused, or dangerous areas. <br />5. Event Management <br />a. Support marketing efforts of events, festivals, and other tourist related activities in <br />Kittitas County. Such efforts will include but are not limited to: <br />i. Micro Grant Assistance <br />ii. Access to Chamber marketing resources <br />iii. Expert consultation with execution of events <br />b. Execute education conferences (such as) <br />i. Marketing/Advertising conference-influencers, traditional media, etc. <br />ii. Hospitality/Tourism conference-customer service, B2B partnership, etc <br />iii. Youth summits-workforce training, internships, etc.
