"Contracts and Payments for Lodging Tax funds" - 1st Quarter 2025 <br />ii. "How to apply for Lodging Tax funds" - 2nd Quarter 2025 <br />iii. "How to Score Lodging Tax applications" -2nd Quarter 2025 <br />i. Present marketing plan for County tourism and outdoor recreation not already <br />encompassed within current County government structure (as needed/requested) utilizing <br />but not limited to. <br />i. TREAD App <br />ii. WSDOT TravelAlerts <br />iii. Bandwango-dig ital itinerary passports <br />j. Administer and oversee County Support Funding Micro Grant program in efforts to <br />support small events/new events outside of the annual consolidated grant cycle. <br />k. Administer and oversee County Municipality Capital Micro Grant program in efforts to <br />support cities to plan for capital funding grant cycle. <br />l. Create focus groups within the hospitality and tourism industry that will educate and <br />prepare businesses for both increases and decreases in the local economy - as needed <br />or directed. <br />m. Review grant applications to identify potential issues, including conflict of interests, and <br />report identified issues to the County Auditor's Office. <br />2. Website Maintenance and social media <br />a. Maintain, including periodic updates as needed, a public web site that promotes Kittitas <br />County tourism and provides information for visitors. www.centralwashingtonoutdoor.com <br />(Year-Round) <br />b. Manage, maintain, and update on a regular basis, social media used for tourism <br />purposes. (Year-Round) <br />i. Facebook <br />ii. lnstagram <br />iii. YouTube <br />c. Create live videos to be used on a variety of social networking platforms to encourage <br />consumers and locals to tourism activities, facilities, or things to-do. ..
