Ryegrass LPL and Ryegrass Balefill Landfill Upgradient Groundwater <br />Investigation <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />6.1 Timeline <br />The approximate timeline for the hydrogeologic investigation is outlined below: <br />■ Well driller procurement (April - July 2024) <br />■ Well Drilling (August/September 2024) <br />■ 3rd Quarter 2024 Sampling Event/First event of new well (September 2024) <br />■ Well Installation Report (November 2024) <br />■ 2024 Annual Report (April 2025) including discussion of new well data <br />■ Seven additional quarterly events (September 2024 - September 2026) <br />■ Evaluation of the background data for updating the SAP (by April 1, 2027) <br />The complicated use and Facility history includes multiple sources for several groundwater quality <br />exceedances in routine monitoring. A new upgradient well, B8, will enhance the understanding of the <br />background water quality and assist in evaluation of groundwater compliance of the LPL and Balefill <br />Landfill.
