Response 4.1: If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?*
Response 4.2: Describe how you will promote lodging establishments, restaurants, and business located in Kittitas County *
Response 4.3: Is there a host hotel for your event or grant project? If yes, list the hotel.*
5| Future Plans
WSSSM has partnered with many organizations throughout the years to promote the
museum and our events.
1. Unfortunately, we had trouble connecting with them due to staffing
changes and are looking toward renewing that relationship. The Summit Inn is across the street from the museum, but does not
appear to be interested in doing any ongoing marketing partnership. They will put up signs for our events at the museum,
however.
To entice volunteers, WSSSM partners with Dru Bru for beer tokens, Commonwealth restaurant for a free meal during your shift,
Red Mountain coffee for drink tokens, and even ski lessons from The Summit. Local businesses around the Pass welcome
WSSSM to post flyers about events on their bulletin boards.
Whenever WSSSM does events at the museum, we partner with local Kittitas County restaurants like the Firehouse/Laconia
Market/Pass Life Space, Commonwealth and Dru Bru, and The Summit at Snoqualmie for food and beverages for these events.
We also partner with other location organizations to promote these events through local Facebook groups. As a member of
CAMAH (Kathy McDonald is former CAMAH President and webmaster), WSSSM will utilize our contacts in Kittitas County to
cross-promote activities and events with other museums and organizations. The WSSSM website has a specific section on it
highlighting local “partners” in the community.
Of course, The Central WA Outdoor logo is prominently featured on the www.wsssm.org home page.
2500 character limit
No
Yes Hoping to renew with
Suncadia Resort
