BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2025 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO SIGN AN <br />AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT NO. WRWBP-2123-KICPWD-00010 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution No. 2023-169 authorized the Public Works Water Resource <br />Manager to Accept Funding from the Department of Ecology to complete the water right <br />acquisition authorized by Resolution No. 2022-140; and <br />WHEREAS: Grant agreement No. WRWBP-2123-KiCPWD-00010 was executed, as authorized by <br />Resolution No. 2023-169; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County and the Department of Ecology are currently preparing an amendment to <br />grant agreement No. WRWBP-2123-KiCPWD-00010; and <br />WHEREAS: This grant agreement will add $1,020,500 in budget and add the acquisition by transfer <br />and conveyance of water right number S4-83608-J to the scope of work; and <br />WHEREAS: Funding available through the amendment to grand agreement No. WRWBP-2123- <br />KiCPWD-00010 would enable the Solid Waste fund to be paid for an asset transfer for <br />water right number S4-83608-J, pursuant to RCW 43.09.210(3); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does authorize the Public Works Water Resource Manager to sign an amendment to grant <br />agreement No. WRWBP-2123-KiCPWD-00010. <br />DATED this I" day of April 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
