BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTYOF KITTITAS <br />STATE OFWASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE <br />No.202s-oo^I <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING APPROVAL TO ROSLYN RIDGE WEST PLANNED UNIT DEVLOPMENT <br />(PD-24-00001) AND SHORT PLAT (SP-24-00004) <br />WHEREAS, according to Kittitas County Code Tittes 15A, 16 & 17, retating to rezones and short ptats and <br />adopted pursuantto RCW36.708 ,36.70, and 58.17, an open record hearingwas hetd bythe Kittitas County <br />Hearing Examiner on December'17,2024tor the purpose of considering a zone change consisting of <br />approximatety 164.32 acres from RuraI Recreation to Planned Unit Devetopment, 61 residentiat tots and <br />open space is for proposed natural areas and recreation such as hiking & motorized trail use on 24 parcets of <br />land described as fottows: <br />WHEREAS, testimony was taken on December 17,2024trom those persons present who wished to be heard <br />during said open record hearing before the Kittitas County Hearing Examiner; and <br />WHEREAS, due notice of the hearing had been given as required by [aw, and the necessary inquiry has been <br />made into the pubtic interest to be served by proposed zone change and short ptat; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner recommended approvaI of proposed rezone and short ptat with <br />recommended findings of fact, conctusions of taw and conditions of approva[, on January 2,2025; and <br />WHEREAS, a public meeting was hetd by the Board of County Commissioners on March 4,2025 to consider <br />the Hearing Examiner's recommendation on this matter; and <br />WHEREAS, at the March 4,2025 pubtic meeting the Board of Commissioners voted to approve the proposed <br />apptication;and <br />WHEREAS, the following FINDINGS OF FACT and CONCLUSIONS OF LAW regarding the ptanned unit <br />devetopment and short ptat have been made by the Board of County Commissioners concerning said rezone <br />and pretiminary short ptat:
