FEBRUARY 4, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Shelise Smithgall, Administrative Assistant; Chad Bala, CDS <br />Director; Bryan Elliott, Auditor; Stephanie Hartung, Chief Civil <br />Deputy; Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator, and 2 members of the <br />public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING FISH FOOD BANK AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to review the <br />Final Project Performance on the Food Bank and Food Pantry Expansion <br />with Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH) CDBG 21-62210-030. <br /> <br />BRYAN ELLIOTT, AUDITOR, explained the purpose of this hearing was to <br />review the final project performance on the Food Bank and Food <br />Pantry Expansion, as per the contract agreement. <br /> <br />PEGGY MORACHE, FISH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, and JAY WAYMIRE, FISH <br />DIRECTOR OF GROCERY OPERATIONS, gave an update on the expansion <br />process. They stated that the warehouse is 95% complete and that the <br />commercial refrigeration is to be delivered and installed in the <br />next 2 weeks. After that is finished, they will start the next <br />phase, consisting of the pantry renovation. Ms. Morache thanked the <br />Board for their help with this expansion project. <br /> <br />THERE WAS NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY AND THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING RANCH AT SWAUK CREEK CDS <br /> <br />At 2:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to Re- <br />consider the Ranch at Swauk Creek Development Agreement (DA-24- <br />00001) as Amended to Correct Scrivener’s Errors Regarding Parcel <br />Numbers and Statutes as Recommended by the Kittitas County <br />Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> <br />CHAD BALA, CDS DIRECTOR, stated to the Board that in the original <br />Development Agreement, there are 6 parcel numbers that are <br />incorrect. Mr. Bala explained that parcel numbers can be retired <br />when a property is subdivided. He stated that 5 of the incorrect <br />parcel numbers in the original agreement were due to this issue and <br />one was removed from the newly amended agreement for being listed as
