KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 4, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve & Sign an Amendment to Lease with <br />Ron and Sonja Mitchell for Lot H-33 within the <br />Aeronautical Area of Bowers Field. <br />BACKGROUND: On November 1, 2022, Ron and Sonja Mitchell entered <br />into a lease for County land located at Bowers <br />Field within the Aeronautical Area. Ron and Sonja <br />Mitchell utilize the property for a private airplane hangar <br />on approximately 0.17 acres of aeronautical area property. <br />INTERACTION: <br />In auditing of said Lease, Exhibit C "Rent Schedule" which <br />outlines the Rental Rates for the term of said Lease <br />reflected calculation inconsistencies that require correcting. <br />Additionally, scrivener's errors were found in the listed <br />Term of said Exhibit C "Rent Schedule" and those have <br />been corrected with this Lease Amendment as well. <br />All other terms of said lease are in effect. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to Approve Board signature on an Amendment to <br />Lease with Ron and Sonja Mitchell for Lot H-33 within the <br />Aeronautical Area of Bowers Field. <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Return I original to Public Works <br />Lease Amendment; Original Lease <br />Josh Fredrickson <br />Public Works Director <br />
