3.5 <br />3.6 <br />3.7 <br />A. Name and date of hire or appointment in the bargaining unit (seniority list). <br />B. The employees' contact information including: Cellular, home and work telephone numbers; work <br />and most up to date personal email addresses; and home address or personal mailing address. <br />C. Employment information, including the employees' job title, salary or rate of pay, and work site or <br />duty station. <br />D. Any other information as required by RCW 41.56.035. <br />The Employer agrees to provide a representative of the Union with reasonable access to new <br />employees serving in bargaining unit positions for the purpose of presenting information about their <br />exclusive bargaining representation, <br />The Employer will inform new, transferred, promoted, or demoted employees in writing prior to <br />appointment into positions included in the bargaining unit(s) of the Union's exclusive representation <br />status. The Employer will furnish the employees appointed into bargaining unit positions <br />membership materials supplied by the Union. The Employer will inform employees if they are <br />subsequently appointed to a position that is not in a bargaining unit. <br />Dues: Upon receipt of the dues authorization from the Union, the Employer agrees that it will deduct <br />from the employees' pay, the dues and/or fee amount(s), as certified by the Union as the exclusive <br />bargainingrepresentativeandshalltransmitthesametotheUnionwithinrybusinessdays. <br />An employee's authorization may be written, electronic or recorded on a form or authorization <br />provided by the Union. <br />An employee's request to revoke authorization from payroll deductions must in writing and submitted <br />by the employee to the Union in accordance with the terms and conditions of the authorization. <br />After the employer receives written notice from the Union that an employee has revoked <br />authorization for dues deduction, the Employer shall end the deduction no later than the second <br />payroll after receipt of the dues deduction revocation from the Union. <br />The Union agrees to defend and hold the Employer harmless against all suits, orders or judgments <br />brought or issued which may arise from the Employer making a good faith effort to administer this <br />section. <br />ARTICLE 4. MAN MENT RIGHTS <br />4.1 The Union recognizes the prerogative of the Employer to operate and manage the affairs of the <br />Sheriffs Office in accordance with the responsibilities of said Office, lawful powers, and legal <br />authority. <br />Affairs/prerogatives of the Sheriff shall include but not be limited to the following: <br />A. The right to establish lawfulworking rules and procedures. <br />B. The right to schedule work and overtime work, and the methods and processes by which <br />said work is to be performed consistently with the Employer's obligations to the public. <br />4.2 <br />3.8 <br />2
