F. The construction of the driveway access and its appurtenances as required by the terms and <br />conditions of the permit shall be completed at the expense of the permittee. <br />G. It is the responsibility of the permittee to complete the construction of the driveway access and <br />the driveway according to the terms and conditions of the permit. The Department may order a <br />halt to any unauthorized construction or use. <br />H. Adequate construction signing, in conformance with MUTCD, most recent edition, is required at <br />all times during driveway access construction. This may include, but is not limited to, the use of <br />signs, flashers, barricades and flaggers. The Department and its duly appointed agents and <br />employees shall be held harmless against any action for personal injury or property damage <br />sustained during construction of the driveway access. <br />Hours of operation requirements shall apply in accordance with KCC 12.05.02.060. At the <br />discretion of the county engineer, the hours of work on or immediately adjacent to the county <br />roadway may be restricted due to peak hour traffic demands and other pertinent roadway <br />operating concerns. <br />A copy of the permit shall be available for review at the construction site. If necessary, minor <br />changes and additions may be ordered by the Department to meet unanticipated site conditions. <br />12.04.07.090 Driveway Access Predating the Adoption of the Road Development Standards <br />Driveway access existing prior to the County's adoption of Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction <br />with Resolution RD-41-70 (1970), are allowed to remain with a change in land use provided such existing access doe <br />not constitute a resulting safety hazard as defined by the County Road Engineer.
