792CH - Courthouse Union <br />have ten (10) calendar days from the date of mailing to give notice of accepting or rejecting re- <br />employment. Failure to respond, or rejection of re-employment, will result in removal from the <br />recall list. <br />Should the employee accept re-employment, they may take another ten (10) calendar days from <br />acceptance before they are required to return to work. Failure to be available for work within <br />ten (10) calendar days may result in withdrawal of the re-employment offer and forfeiture of all <br />recall rights under this Section. <br />13.2 ln the event the recall list shall become exhausted, the Employer then has the right to step up <br />persons with less than six (5) months of service or hire a new employee for the position <br />involved. <br />XIV - PAID TIME OFF <br />t4.r Accrual: Paid Time Off (PTO)for regular employees shallaccrue monthly at a rate in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Years of Service Hours/Month Hours/Year <br />0 months to L2 months of service 18.667 224 <br />At the beginning of the employee's 2nd year of service 22 264 <br />At the beginning of employee's 5th year of service 23.667 284 <br />At the beginning of the employee's 8th year of service 25.333 304 <br />At the beginning of employee's 12th year of service 27 324 <br />At the beginning of the employee's 16th year of <br />service <br />28.667 344 <br />Employees shall accrue PTO in their first month of employment, provided they physically <br />work at least 40 hours in the month. <br />Employees shall accrue PTO in their last month of employment, provided they physically <br />work at least 40 hours in the month. <br />C. PTO is accrued monthly, and hours cannot be used prior to accrual <br />74.2 Probationa Restriction:Su bject to supervisor approval, scheduled PTO may be used following <br />accrua I <br />t4.3 Schedulins: The County shall determine when scheduled PTO shall be taken by way of advanced <br />scheduling insofar as practicable. Requests will generally be granted on a first come basis, but <br />seniority shall be considered for conflicts involving simultaneously submitted requests.
