9.3 <br />9.4 <br />10.1 <br />70.2 <br />A. <br />B. <br />c. <br />D. <br />E. <br />F. <br />G <br />H. <br />792 - Road Union <br />Seniority for this section will be the most recent date of hire in the Bargaining Unit by Division <br />Divisions shall be as follows: <br />Flagger/Laborer <br />Equipment Operator <br />Traffic Technician <br />Engineer Technician <br />Mechanic <br />Solid Waste Operator <br />Solid Waste Operator/Mechanic <br />Airport Operator/Mechanic <br />Lead Operator <br />Lead Mechanic <br />Employees laid off will be eligible for reinstatement for a period of one (1) year. No new <br />employees shall be hired bythe Employer until available, qualified employees placed on layoff <br />have been offered reemployment in reverse order of layoff, provided the layoff period does not <br />exceed one (1) year and that laid off former employee keeps the Employer advised of a current <br />address. An offer of reemployment shall be in writing and sent by registered or certified mail to <br />the former employee, with a copy by email to the Union President and Council 2 Staff <br />Representative. A former employee so notified must indicate their acceptance of said <br />reemployment within ten (10) calendar days from the date of mailing and shall be back on the <br />job within ten (10) business days of acceptance or forfeit all call-back rights under this Article. <br />ARTICLE 10 - DISCIPLINE <br />The Employer may discipline or discharge an employee for just cause. <br />The disciplinary actions which the Employer may take against an employee include the <br />following: <br />A. Oral reprimand <br />B. Written reprimand <br />C. Suspension without pay <br />D. Demotion <br />J <br />10
