BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE No. 2023- 003 <br />REVISIONS TO KCC TITLE 8.21 RECYCLING AND YARD WASTE SERVICE LEVEL <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2022-15; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Solid Waste has been working with the Washington State Utilities and <br />Transportation Commission permitted hauler for our County to implement the new ordinance <br />as it was determined that more clarification was needed to KCC Title 8.21; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Solid Waste Department has worked with the Prosecutor's Office to <br />update and provide more clarification to KCC Title 8.21; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas Board of County Commissioners did conduct a public hearing on December 19, <br />2023, to receive public testimony on the proposed code revisions to Kittitas County Code Title <br />8.21. <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance as amended becomes effective upon the signature of the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />ADOPTED this 191h day of December 2023. <br />Boar —Julie Kjorsvik <br />Ky <br />Deputy Clerk of the Board — Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTIT/jS CC U�NTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cor�nVright, Chairma <br />it{i,1l Chairman <br />LauA QeadaczNG�rrfrrnissioner <br />
