Contractor witt be the tead entity for all communications retated to the CWS to ctients, <br />volunteers, and the community at large. <br />Staffing and Volunteers: Contractor witt provide a[[ necessary staff and coordinate atl <br />necessary votunteers to ensure sufficient operationat support. Contractor wilt provide on- <br />catt staff support during att operating hours when staff are not stationed onsite at the <br />shelter. <br />Staff and volunteers must be vetted and trained. This training must inctude aLt operational <br />procedures, heatth and safety requirements, and emergency procedures related to their <br />function or rote. <br />Security: Contractor must provide overnight security personneI to maintain CWS safety <br />and to enforce curfews. <br />Food Service: Contractor must provide an evening meaI and heavy snack/tight morning <br />meal for ctients. Food provided at the CWS must be either prepackaged, prepared onsite at <br />the provided commerciaI kitchen, or prepared offsite at a property permitted commercial <br />kitchen facitity. The Contractor must ensure that any onsite food preparation is performed <br />by individuats hol.ding a vatid food handters permit per WAC 246-217-015. Additionatty, per <br />WAC 246-215-02107 a certified Food Protection Manager must always be avaitabte during <br />food preparation or service to oversee food safety and ensure comptiance with a[[ relevant <br />[ocaI and state food safety regulations. <br />Onty food sourced from approved supptiers, as defined by WAC 246-215-03100 through <br />246-215-03290 may be used or served. <br />Contractor is responsibte for ensuring that att other locat and state food safety codes are <br />fo[[owed. <br />Heatth and Safety: The Contractor must maintain the shelter space in a sanitary condition <br />and imptement regutar cteaning schedules to reduce the risk of spread of infectious <br />diseases. lnfection prevention protocots fottowing Centers for Disease ControI and <br />Prevention guidance must be in ptace for cteaning, sanitization, and disinfectingthe <br />facitity. Contractor must document poticies and procedures to be imptemented in the <br />event of an outbreak of infectious disease within the facil.ity. <br />Contractor witt consult with the Kittitas County Pubtic Heatth Department for technical <br />assistance and witt notify pubtic heatth staff immediatety in the case of a suspected <br />disease outbreak among the shetter ctients. <br />HMtS Data Entry: Contractor must enter ctient tevel data in the Homeless Management <br />lnformation System (HMIS)for each ctient accessingthe CWS. Contractor must ensure <br />that data for any given month is entered in HMIS no later than the Sth day of the fottowing <br />month.
