PUBLIC WORKS <br />Approve an Addendum to a Lease Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Valley Fence, Inc. for land located at Bowers Field within the <br />Industrial Area. <br /> RESOLUTION 2024-197 VANTAGE HWY PAVING PUBLIC WORKS <br />Approve Resolution No. 2024-197, Awarding a Contract for the 2024 <br />Vantage Highway Paving Project (CRP 320-24) to Interstate Concrete & <br />Asphalt dba American Rock Products in the amount of $2,043,715.00, and <br />to Authorize the County Engineer to Sign the Contract Documents. <br /> RESOLUTION 2024-198 KC CONSERVATION DISTRICT PUBLIC WORKS <br />Approve Resolution No. 2024-198, Authorizing the Chairman’s Signature on <br />an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Flood Control Zone <br />District and the Kittitas County Conservation District. <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br />Chairman Wachsmith noted receipt of an email dated November 18, 2024, <br />from Pat Kelleher, who requested his comments be included as part of the <br />Agenda, regarding Stone Road – Yakima River. <br />Theresa Plue commented on the Cold Weather Shelter contract. She felt <br />the operations should be looked at carefully through this winter, so <br />they can learn about the data and users. <br /> <br />Pat Kelleher said he was an advocate for public recreation in Kittitas <br />County. He asked the Board of County Commissioners to include <br />$100,000.00 in the Capital Recreation Improvement Budget, to help <br />support the BLM in the Yakima Canyon. BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br />Erin Moore, Deputy Public Health Director, reviewed the recommendations <br />to award funding from the 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical <br />Dependency Tax Advisory Board. Their recommendations to award funding <br />included Community Builders, Comprehensive Healthcare, HopeSource, <br />Kittitas County Friends of Animals, Kittitas County Health Network, <br />Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization, Kittitas County <br />Superior Court, and the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to fund the following per the Advisory Board’s <br />recommendation: Comprehensive Healthcare, HopeSource, Kittitas County <br />Recovery Community Organization, Kittitas County Superior Court, and the
