HOMELESSNESS & AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> MONDAY 1 : 30 P .M. November 4 , 2024 <br /> Board Members Present: Brett Wachsmith, Michael Karraker (Web Ex) , <br /> Andrea Hochleutner (Web Ex) , Matthew Stalder, Bradley Esparza, Joan <br /> Neslund, Nancy Goodloe <br /> Others : Candi Blackford (Clerk) , Chelsey Loeffers (Kittitas County <br /> Public Health Director, Brittany Bouchouari (HopeSource) <br /> Called to Order <br /> Brett Wachsmith called the meeting to order at 1 : 30 pm. <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> William Coleman noted his concerns about the Cold Weather Shelter <br /> location and his hopes that there will be a more permanent solution to <br /> location that is not at the event center. <br /> Minute Approval <br /> Brett Wachsmith asked for a motion to approve October 7, 2024, meeting <br /> minutes as presented. <br /> 11 . 01 : Motion to approve October 7 ,2024 meeting minutes as presented. <br /> Bradley Esparza moved to approve October 7, 2024; meeting minutes as <br /> presented. Matthew Stalder second, All approved. Motion 11 . 01 carried to <br /> approve the meeting minutes as amended. <br /> Committee Business <br /> New Committee Member Interviews <br /> The committee interviewed two applicants : <br /> • Skylar Bisom-Rapp <br /> • Tiffany Christman <br /> Committee members asked questions to the applicants . After questions <br /> they asked applicants to leave the room for a few moments so they could <br /> Discuss . The committee decided to offer Skylar Bisom-Rapp the position <br /> with his background in real estate development and affordable housing <br /> finance, zoning, and land use issues and other qualifications on resume <br /> he will be a good addition to the committee. The group will revisit its <br /> Bylaws next month and have asked Tiffany Christman to be patient with <br /> the group. They are looking for representation from Upper County, but <br /> before they can offer a position on the committee the group must adjust <br /> 11/04/2024 Minutes <br />
